Representative Nevin Iskandar announced the formation of a committee by the Ministry of Solidarity to examine the testimonies that were circulated about one of the civil society associations officially known under the name “Beit Fatim” and managed by M.T.
After the harassment testimonies, Solidarity forms a committee to examine several complaints against Beit Fatim
Iskandar wrote – through her account on the social networking site Facebook: In contact with the political communication official at the Ministry of Social Solidarity regarding the testimonies that were circulated about one of the officially recognized civil society associations run by “M.T.,” and the importance of forming a committee to seriously examine complaints, I received confirmation that a committee has been formed to examine the matter and the necessary legal action will be taken.
She added: I appreciate these quick interventions, and I look forward to continued follow-up and ensuring a safe and confidential environment for receiving testimonies, while providing full support to any affected women who wish to take the legal path.
