Major General Dr. Khaled Mujawar, Governor of North Sinai, received today Dr. Hassan Al-Demerdash, President of Al-Arish University, accompanied by a number of college deans and university faculty members.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation between the governorate and the university in various fields, and the university’s role in supporting development plans in the governorate, and benefiting from academic and research expertise in serving the Sinai community.
Yesterday, Tuesday, Major General Dr. Khaled Mujawar, Governor of North Sinai, inspected the paving works of the axis linking the city center of Bir al-Abd, as part of the governorate’s investment plan projects for the fiscal year 2025/2026, as part of the state’s efforts to improve the quality of life for citizens.

The governor confirmed that the project will be implemented after the complete completion of all utility works, which include drinking water, natural gas, sewage, and telephone networks, to ensure that the infrastructure is preserved and that the work is not repeated in the future.
The governor indicated that a permanent technical committee has been formed to follow up on development and service projects at the governorate level in general, and includes representatives of the Faculty of Engineering at Sinai University, the General Authority for Roads and Bridges, the Housing Directorate, the Roads Directorate, and the heads of the relevant cities, in addition to the engineering departments and concerned authorities, in order to ensure the quality of implementation and adherence to the approved technical specifications.
