Engineer Adel Al-Najjar, Governor of Giza, congratulated the Coptic Orthodox on the occasion of Christmas, while heading the governorate’s delegation in its visit this evening, Tuesday, to the headquarters of the Coptic Orthodox Archbishopric of Giza on Murad Street in Giza, where he was received by Bishop Theodosius, Bishop of Giza and its environs.
During his speech, the Governor of Giza stressed the strength and durability of the relations that bind all Egyptians, which are a true embodiment of the meanings of national unity and brotherhood, under the wise leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, who proved to the world that Egyptians are one indivisible entity, united by bonds of love, brotherhood and patriotism, and working together to develop the nation and achieve its security and stability.
For his part, Bishop Theodosius welcomed the Governor of Giza and his accompanying delegation, congratulating the Egyptian people of all sects on the occasion of Christmas, and wishing that love and peace would spread throughout Egypt and the world.
The Bishop of Giza also extended his thanks and appreciation to the Governor of Giza and the governorate’s executive and security leaders for their participation and keenness to consolidate the foundations of national unity, praising their continued efforts to improve the standard of living of citizens and provide security and safety.
The governor was accompanied during the visit by Ibrahim Al-Shehabi and Hind Abdel Halim, deputy governors, Major General Abdel Rahman Sukkar, deputy director of Giza Security, Mohamed Nour El-Din, Secretary General of the Governorate, Major General Alaa Fathi, Director of the General Administration of Giza Investigations, Brigadier General Mohamed Ahmed Shafi’i, Military Advisor to the Governorate, Mohamed Mar’i, Assistant General Secretary, Ayman Khalil, Head of Giza City, Wael Shaaban, Head of the Central Administration for Governor’s Office Affairs, and His Eminence Sheikh Ayman Jawish. Director General of the Central Administration of the Giza Al-Azhar District, His Eminence Sheikh Abdullah Muhammad Hamid, Director General of the Giza Waaz District, Dr. Ashraf Tamer, Head of the South Giza District, Major General Muhammad Al-Dubaie, Head of the General Authority for Cleanliness and Beautification, and Dr. Ishaq Jamil, Director of the Giza Health Directorate.
