Next Thursday, the Al-Ahly Club headquarters on the island will witness a drawing ceremony African Club Basketball Championship Women, No. 29, which the club will host during the period from 4 to 15 December.
Thursday: The draw for the African Championship for Women’s Basketball at Al-Ahly’s headquarters in Al-Jazira
The draw will be held in the presence of Mohamed Al-Garhi, member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee of the Championship, Ibrahim Al-Amri, and Rowaida Hisham, members of the Board of Directors and Vice-Chairmen of the Supreme Organizing Committee of the Championship, Anibal Manaf, President of the African Basketball Confederation, Amr Moselhy, President of the Egyptian Basketball Federation, Khaled Al-Awadi, Director of the Championship, and representatives of the clubs and delegations participating in the tournament.
Al-Ahly’s hosting of this edition comes as an extension of its role in supporting continental championships, and providing all the elements that guarantee the success of the event and its completion in a manner befitting Egyptian and African sports.
The tournament witnesses the participation of many clubs on the continent, namely: Al-Ahly – Kenyan Ports Authority – Senegal’s Ville de Dakar – Mozambique’s Veraviaro – Angola’s Sporting Luanda – Nigeria’s First Bank – Cameroon’s Fab – Rwandan Patriotic Army – Ivorian League of Friends – Rwanda’s Rage – Democratic Republic of Congo’s CNS – and Malawi’s Brave Hearts.
