Sony officially unveiled its new LinkBuds Clip wireless headphones, which come with the distinctive clip design that has recently become popular among headphone manufacturers. This design gives the user the ability to listen to music while remaining aware of surrounding sounds at the same time.
In designing the headphones, Sony relied on providing greater comfort and stability, as it confirmed that they are suitable for different ear shapes thanks to the replaceable mounting pads, which makes them a practical choice for use throughout the day.

In terms of audio performance, the headphones provide three listening modes, including standard mode, Voice Boost mode, and sound leakage reduction mode. The accompanying application also supports a ten-band equalizer to adjust the experience according to the user’s preference. In calls, the headphones rely on a bone conduction sensor to capture sound along with an artificial intelligence system to reduce noise, with the aim of providing improved call quality.
As for the battery, the operating time reaches 9 hours on a single charge, and extends to 37 hours when using the charging case. The headphones support fast charging, providing an hour of use in just three minutes of charging. It also has an IPX4 rating to resist splashes of water, and supports the Multipoint connection feature.
The Sony LinkBuds Clip is currently available in the United States for $229.99, and in Canada for $299.99 Canadian, in colors including black, light grey, green, and lavender. Sony also makes the case covers and mounting pads available to be purchased separately for $24.99.
