The security services at the Ministry of Interior are examining a video clip posted on the social networking site Instagram, from a user alleging that he was assaulted by a microbus driver due to a dispute over a ride fare.

A driver assaulted a passenger in Benha

Cairo 24 contacted the video publisher, and he said I took a taxi from the College of Agriculture parking lot to the Banha parking lot after the car had moved 15 minutes. The driver told me that the bag behind this car needed an additional fee. I replied to him and told him that I paid his rent for the 3 chairs behind the car at the end of the car and it was placed on one of the chairs. For your information, it is a small bag, but he is upset that I put it next to me on the chair and he asked. I put it on my leg and of course I refused and he remained silent and did not speak.

He added: I was surprised as soon as we arrived at the Banha stop on the road. He was dropping off passengers and I was getting out of the car. The driver was coming from my back with a razor in his hand and hitting me and my brother with it. Of course, I had my mother and sister with me, and of course I didn’t want to humiliate them and fight each other. Everything I had done I photographed it and walked away and said I would take my right under the law.

He pointed out that he had filed a report with the Banha Police Department, attaching a medical report on his brother’s injury, demanding that legal measures be taken against the driver.
