Major General Dr. Hisham Abu Al-Nasr, Governor AssiutThis Sunday morning, an inspection tour was held to follow up on the progress of the transportation class exams for the first semester of the 2025-2026 academic year, in a number of primary, middle, and secondary schools, in addition to intellectual education schools in the eastern district of Assiut, to ensure the regularity of the exam process and provide the appropriate atmosphere for students.
Regularity of exams for transport classes
The governor was accompanied during the tour by Mohamed Ibrahim Al-Desouki, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in Assiut, Abu Al-Oyoun Ibrahim, Head of the Sharq District, Hassan Othman, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, Dr. Mona Abu Al-Mawahib, Director of the Special Education Department of the Directorate of Education, and Ahmed Thabet, General Supervisor of the Development of Intellectual Education Schools.
The governor began his tour by inspecting the examination committees of the Martyr Ahmed Fayez Secondary School for Girls, where he followed the committees of the second year of secondary school (regular, homes, and services), and checked on the progress of the exam in mathematics, which regular students take using tablet devices, while home and service students take it on paper. He also listened to the students’ opinions about the level of the exam and the clarity of the questions, and made sure that there were no technical obstacles while taking the electronic exams.
The tour also included an inspection of the committees of the Nile Preparatory School for Boys, then the Martyr Ahmed Galal Official Language School, where he observed the regularity of examination work at various educational levels, in an atmosphere of calm and discipline, with full adherence to the controls and instructions regulating examination work.
The Governor of Assiut also inspected the committees of the Intellectual Education School in the Sharq district, and checked on the conditions of students in the fourth, fifth, and sixth grades while taking the exams, stressing the availability of the necessary comfort and care for them, and the presence of supervisors and observers within the committees.
Major General Hisham Abu Al-Nasr confirmed that the transportation class exams, which began yesterday, Saturday, January 10, and continue until Thursday, January 15, are taking place within a framework of discipline and regularity of the committees, stressing the necessity of providing a safe and appropriate exam environment, and achieving the principle of equal opportunities among all students, with full compliance with all ministerial instructions, in the interest of our students.
For his part, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education explained that exams for transportation classes are held at the governorate level at various educational levels, with the total number of students in the primary stage reaching about 454,000 male and female students, while about 163,000 male and female students take the exams in the preparatory stage, and in the secondary stage about 59,000 students, including service and home students, pointing to the full support provided by the Governor of Assiut to the educational process, especially during the examination period, and providing all necessary capabilities within the schools.
