In a related context, the competent authorities are investigating the circumstances of the incident, to determine the truth of the accusations being circulated and to hear the statements of all parties, in preparation for taking the necessary legal measures.
A video clip circulated on Facebook showed a group of people forcing a young man to wear a dance suit and stand on top of a chair in a scene that aroused dissatisfaction and anger among social media users, before assaulting him by beating him and mocking him in front of the people.
After monitoring the video, the security services of the Qalyubia Security Directorate intensified their efforts to uncover the circumstances of the incident, and the accused were identified and arrested.
When confronted, they admitted to committing the incident, justifying their action because the victim had an emotional relationship with one of them’s daughter and ran away with her. The necessary legal measures were taken against the accused, and a report was drawn up regarding the incident.
