Supplication for the first Friday of Ramadan
On this blessed day, it is recommended for the believer to say the supplication of the first Friday of Ramadan and say:
“Oh God, on this blessed Friday, make us free from the Fire, grant us your forgiveness and your satisfaction, erase our sins, wash our hearts with your light, and make for us a relief from every worry, and a way out from every distress, with your mercy, O Most Merciful of the Merciful.”
The virtue of praying on Friday
Supplication on Friday, especially when we are on the first Friday of the month of Ramadan, is one of the best acts of worship and the most accurate time for a response, as God Almighty has designated it as an hour of response, with which a standing Muslim servant praying and asking God for something does not agree except that He gives it to him.
The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said about the Friday supplication in the noble hadith that came on the authority of Abu Sa’id al-Khudri and Abu Hurairah that he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Indeed, there is an hour on Friday that no Muslim servant will meet.” He asks God Almighty.”
Supplication for the first Friday of Ramadan
Oh God, we ask you to erase sins, cover faults, soften hearts, relieve worries, make things easy, and to write for us the good of this world and the bliss of the hereafter, O Lord of the Worlds.
Oh God, correct our hearts, forgive our sins, cover our faults, and accept the repentance of those who repent.
Oh God, reward us with the gift, forgive us the sin, and give us a life that is content and satisfactory, O Most Mighty, O Forgiving, O Lord of the Worlds.
Oh God, give us the best of what you give to those who ask, and bring together for us the good of this world and religion, and forgive us, our parents, and all Muslims.
Oh God, heal him who is exhausted by his illness, whose recovery is delayed, whose illness is many, and whose medicine is few, and you are his help and cure, O you who have overwhelmed your servants with your grace and giving. Fill us with your vast grace and giving, O Lord of the Worlds.
O Ever-Living, O Ever-Living, by Your mercy I seek help, set right all my affairs for me, and do not leave me to myself for the blink of an eye.” It is said every morning and evening.
Oh God, nothing is easy except what You make easy, and You make sadness easy if You wish.
Oh God, You are the Owner of dominion. You give dominion to whomever You wish, and take away dominion from whomever You wish, and honor whomever You wish, and humiliate whomever You wish. In your hand is good. You are capable of all things. You are Most Merciful of this world and the Hereafter, and Most Merciful of them. You give them to whomever You wish, and withhold from them to whomever You wish. Have mercy upon me with a mercy that will enrich me with the mercy of anyone else.
O God, Lord of the seven heavens, Lord of the Great Throne, our Lord and Lord of all things, You are the Outward One, and there is nothing above You, and You are the Inward One, and there is nothing below You. You sent down the Torah, the Gospel, and the Criterion, so separate love and intentions. I seek refuge in You from the evil of everything. You are the Taker. With his forelock, you are the first and there is nothing before you, and you are the last and there is nothing after you. Pay off our debt and enrich us from poverty.
Oh God, I seek refuge in You from worry and sadness, inability and laziness, miserliness and cowardice, the burden of debt, and the dominance of men. God suffices me, there is no god but Him, I put my trust in Him and He is the Lord of the Great Throne, seven times.
Oh God, I seek refuge in You from deterioration, demolition, drowning, and burning, and I seek refuge in You from Satan tripping me upon death, and I seek refuge in You from dying in Your way fleeing, and I seek refuge in You from dying stinging.
Oh God, I seek refuge in You from hunger, for it is miserable to be lost, and I seek refuge in You from betrayal, for it is miserable to be in.
