Civil Protection Forces in Dakahlia Governorate were able to control a fire that broke out inside a residential apartment on the second floor of a 6-story property, in the Aja Center, without causing any human casualties.

The details of the incident occurred when the security services in the Dakahlia Security Directorate received a notification from the Civil Protection Operations Room stating that a fire had been reported in a residential apartment on the second floor next to the Vodafone branch in the Aga Center.

Immediately, the security services and civil protection forces moved in, supported by fire trucks and an ambulance, and a security cordon was imposed to prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring places in order to preserve the lives of citizens. The fire was controlled and prevented from spreading to the rest of the floors of the property or neighboring properties.

The initial inspection revealed that the fire broke out inside an apartment on the upper second floor of a 6-storey property as a result of an electrical short. A report was filed on the incident, legal measures were taken, and the competent authorities were notified to initiate investigations.

In another context, the city of Menouf, Menoufia Governorate, witnessed a fire breaking out inside a bakery, resulting in damage to 9 nearby kiosks, and the bakery owner sustaining separate burns.

The initial inspection revealed that the fire broke out inside the bakery, before spreading to the kiosks adjacent to it, causing major material losses, while the bakery owner suffered burns to the hands and feet, estimated at about 25%.

The security services in Menoufia received a report indicating that a fire had broken out inside a bakery in the Menouf Police Department, and a security force immediately moved to the site of the accident, accompanied by a number of civil protection vehicles.

Upon moving and examining it, it was found that the fire had caught fire in the bakery and had spread to the neighboring stalls, and the civil protection forces were able to control and extinguish the fire, and prevent it from spreading to neighboring properties.

The injured person was transferred to the hospital to receive the necessary first aid and medical care, while the necessary legal measures were taken, and a report was drawn up regarding the incident.

The investigating authorities were notified to initiate an investigation into the causes and circumstances of the fire, determine whether there is a criminal suspicion or not, and determine the extent of the losses resulting from the accident.
