In a related context, the Egyptian Red Crescent continues its humanitarian services at the Rafah crossing, in preparation for receiving the 35th batch of wounded, sick and injured Palestinians, arriving and departing, and their companions, and facilitating crossing procedures.

This is in addition to distributing hot meals, providing heavy clothing and personal care supplies, and distributing a “return bag” to those returning to the Gaza Strip.

The Egyptian Red Crescent has been present on the border since the beginning of the crisis, as the Rafah crossing on the Egyptian side was not closed permanently, and it continued its alertness in all logistical centers, and its continuous efforts to bring in humanitarian and relief aid, which exceeded 900 thousand tons, with the efforts of more than 65 thousand volunteers in the association.
