Dr. Hisham Abu Zeid, Deputy Governor of Luxor, in a rapid response to the repercussions of the painful accident that took place in Luxor Governorate, conducted an urgent inspection visit to those injured in a microbus taxi overturn accident in the Rayina Canal in the city of Armant.

Details of the tragic Armant crash
The details of the incident are due to a horrific collision between a microbus taxi and a tourist bus on the agricultural road on the western mainland of Luxor Governorate, which led to the microbus deflecting and falling into the waters of the Rayina Canal.
The unfortunate accident resulted in the death of the microbus driver as a result of his injuries, and 14 other people sustained varying injuries. Ambulance teams moved immediately to transfer them to Horus Hospital in the city of Armant to undergo examinations and receive treatment to save their lives.


Strict guidelines for comprehensive health care
The Deputy Governor of Luxor was keen to inspect the injured and personally ensure the stability of their health condition, during his tour of the hospital’s corridors.
He directed direct instructions to the leaders of the Health Care Authority to harness all available capabilities and quickly provide aspects of specialized therapeutic and medical care.
He also stressed the continued provision of full support and the formation of medical teams to follow up on cases until they fully recover and are released safely.
