The Egyptian national team delegation heads to football handLed by Spanish coach Xavi Pascual, they will travel to Rwanda on January 19 to participate in the African Cup of Nations.

The Egyptian Handball Federation announced that Khaled Fathi, president of the federation, will head the men’s national team delegation during the tournament, which is scheduled to be held in Rwanda during the period from January 21 to 31.
As part of the intensive preparations for the tournament, the Spanish national team’s coach, Javier Pascual, announced the list of players selected to enter a training camp in Spain during the period from January 1 to January 7, after completing a comprehensive medical examination for all players.
The list included: Muhammad Ali, Muhammad Essam Al-Tayyar, Abdul Rahman Hamid, Yahya Khaled, Mohab Abdel Haq, Mohsen Ramadan, Ahmed Hisham Sissa, Muhammad Moamen Safa, Akram Yousry, Muhammad Imad Oka, Ali Zein, Ahmed Hisham Dodo, Nabil Sharif, Hisham Saleh, Ibrahim Al-Masry, Ahmed Adel, Yasser Saif, Mahmoud Abdel Aziz Gedo, Yahya Al-Dara, and Saif Al-Dara.
The technical staff hopes to prepare the players in the best possible way to compete for the continental title, and to continue the positive results of Egyptian handball at the African level.
