The investigation authorities in the city of Shubra Al-Kheima, Qalyubia Governorate, ordered the detention of the accused of sexually assaulting a 4-year-old child after luring him into his apartment in Ezbet Rustom, for four days pending investigations, taking into account renewing his detention within the legal time frame, after the truth of the incident was proven through investigations and a medical examination.

Major General Mohamed Al-Sayed, Director of the Criminal Investigation Department in Qalyubia, and Major General Wael Metwally, Chief of Investigations of the Directorate, received a notification from Lieutenant Colonel Mustafa Diab, Chief of Investigations of the Second Division in Shubra Al-Kheima, stating that they had received a report from the so-called “Aisha A. A.,” 42 years old, a nursery worker and resident of Ezbet Rustom, accusing the so-called “Saif El-Din A. G. M.,” 41 years old, their neighbor in the area, of sexual assault. On her son, Mustafa J.F., 4 years old.
