This comes in implementation of Cabinet Resolution No. 909 of 2026 regarding setting dates for closing shops and establishments during the current period, within the framework of the state’s plan to rationalize electricity consumption.
In another context, the security services at the Ministry of Interior revealed the circumstances of a video clip that was circulated on social media sites, which included content makers performing a scene imitating the character of police officers, during which a person appears carrying a firearm as a security personnel assigned to guard the office.

Through examination, it was possible to identify and arrest those appearing in the video clip, 4 people residing in Luxor Governorate, who were in possession of 4 mobile phones, an automatic rifle, and two skeletal stoves. When confronted, they admitted to filming the video clip referred to and publishing it on the personal page of one of them with the aim of increasing the rate of views without intending to impersonate or offend the relevant authorities, and legal measures were taken.
