Today’s episode of the State of Recitation program witnessed remarkable praise from the jury for the performance of contestant Mohamed Ahmed Hassan, who presented a recitation that won the admiration of the committee members, amid assurances that he represents a unique model of young Azhar talent.

The Minister of Endowments, Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, said that the contestant is “dear to my heart,” expressing his happiness if Muhammad considers him a friend of his, and praising the experience he creates within the competition.
The Minister of Endowments added that the contestant created an honorable case of success that proved that the nation’s soil is capable of producing great people,” stressing that he has a clear thirst for reading, and is considered an honorable model for the Egyptian and Azhari people in particular.
Osama Al-Azhari called on the Egyptian people to be keen to discover and highlight talents in various fields, in support of the energies and capabilities of youth.
For his part, the representative of the Qur’an Review Committee at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif confirmed that the contestant is considered one of the most skilled students of Al-Azhar institutes in the seven recitations, indicating his complete readiness to perform any narration, adding: “May God protect him.”
Maqamat expert Dr. Taha Abdel Wahab praised Ahmed Mohamed Hassan’s skill in choosing the maqamats, stressing that he was more impressed each time than the previous one, adding: “I don’t know where to give him grades,” in reference to the contestant’s distinction and remarkable superiority.
The committee’s opinions were that the contestant possesses a strong talent that qualifies him for advanced competition within the program, with a consensus that he presents an honorable image for Al-Azhar and the talented youth in the field of recitation.
