Talaat Mustafa Group (TMG), the leading company in… The field of real estate and tourism developmentAnd Egypt Education Platform (EEP), the largest and fastest growing education services provider in Egypt, owned by the Egypt Education Fund (a fund managed and supported by EFG Hermes), signed a strategic cooperation agreement to establish a private university within Noor City (Noor), one of the integrated urban projects developed by Talaat Mostafa Group in eastern Cairo.
A private university inside Nour City
The new university will be developed on a designated plot of land within the Noor project, to provide high-quality education across a diverse group of colleges, supported by international academic partnerships and accreditations.
The project aims to meet the growing demand for private university education in Greater Cairo, especially in East Cairo, which is witnessing strong population growth and rising income levels, in addition to the limited number of distinguished private universities.
The Egypt Education Platform (EEP)’s education portfolio currently includes 23 (i) schools and nurseries spread across Egypt, offering five educational curricula (British, American, International Baccalaureate, Montessori, and National) to more than 15,000 registered students, and (ii) Student Weapon, the leading developer of educational content in Egypt, serving between 3 and 4 million students annually.
This partnership represents the entry of the Egypt Education Platform (EEP) into the rapidly growing higher education sector, and builds on the successful cooperation between the Egypt Education Platform and Talaat Moustafa Group, which currently includes five schools currently serving approximately 9,000 students across Talaat Moustafa Group’s growing urban communities in Madinaty and Al-Rehab. These assets have achieved strong operational performance, reflecting both parties’ shared commitment to providing high-quality education within Talaat Moustafa Group communities.
Hisham Talaat Mostafa, CEO and Managing Director of Talaat Mostafa Holding Group, confirmed that signing this strategic partnership with the Misr Education Platform comes within the framework of the group’s vision to provide an integrated model for sustainable and advanced smart cities, noting that the establishment of a private university within Nour City represents a pivotal step in supporting the university education sector and investing in building people, creating the future, and serving society in all fields, in line with sustainable development goals and raising the quality of educational services.

He added that the establishment of the new university comes within the package of integrated services that Talaat Mustafa Group is keen to provide within Nour City – similar to all of the group’s cities – in a way that ensures the provision of distinguished educational services in accordance with the latest international standards, and contributes to creating an advanced educational environment that serves the residents of the city and its surrounding areas, and enhances the position of Nour City as an integrated destination for modern life.

This step also represents an important progress on the path to listing the Misr Education Platform in the financial markets, supported by a long-term strategic partnership with Talaat Moustafa Group.
EFG Hermes Promotion and Underwriting Company acted as the sole financial advisor for this strategic partnership, and this deal is subject to meeting a number of conditions and obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals.
