Major General Hisham Abu Al-Nasr, Governor, announced Assiut11 cases of removing encroachments on agricultural lands and illegal buildings were carried out during massive campaigns carried out in 3 centers throughout the governorate within the first phase of the 28th wave of removing encroachments, in implementation of the directives of the political leadership headed by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to preserve agricultural land and state property and decisively address all forms of encroachment and violation of the law.
Encroachment removal campaigns
The Governor of Assiut explained that the campaigns targeted the centers of Al-Fath, Sidfa, and Al-Badari, and resulted in the recovery of an area estimated at 6 karats of agricultural land, in addition to the removal of illegal buildings on a total area of 1,195 square meters, within the framework of complete coordination between local units, law enforcement forces, and all concerned parties.
The governor pointed out that the local unit of the center and city of Al-Fath was able to remove two cases of encroachment from spatial variables, while the local unit of the center and city of Sidfa succeeded in removing 4 cases of encroachment on agricultural lands, and 5 cases of encroachment from spatial variables were removed within the scope of the local unit of the center and city of Al-Badari.
Major General Hisham Abu Al-Nasr confirmed that the removal campaigns will continue to be implemented decisively and according to the timetable set for the first phase of the 28th wave, which will continue until next March 27, to prevent the return of the attacks again, and to ensure that the target is achieved according to the established plan.
At the conclusion of his statements, the Governor of Assiut renewed his call to citizens to cooperate with state agencies and immediately report any violations or encroachments on agricultural lands, state property, or violating construction, noting that several channels have been allocated to receive reports 24 hours a day, including the hotline (114), the central operations room numbers (088/2135858 – 088/2135727), or through the unified government complaints system (16528), where All reports are dealt with promptly and decisively in accordance with the provisions of the law.
