Artist Yasser Ali Maher revealed the character he will embody in the events of the series “Proof of Lineage,” starring Dora and with the participation of a number of artists.
In a statement to Cairo 24, he said: “I embody the character of a lawyer, and the role will be very important, and I hope that the work will be admired by the audience.”
Proof of lineage series:
The events of the work revolve in a framework of suspense and excitement around a mother who enters into great conflicts and conspiracies, and transforms from a simple woman into a completely different personality. The pressure on her increases as a result of her child’s involvement in these conspiracies, and she faces a wave of accusations of insanity and loss of reason. The conflict escalates as she tries to prove that she is not out of her mind and protect her son from the dangers to which he is exposed.
A number of artists are participating in the work, accompanied by Dorra, including Walaa Al-Sharif, Mahmoud Abdel-Mughni, Mohsen Mohy El-Din, Hajar Al-Sharnoubi, Ahmed Gamal Saeed, Yasser Ali Maher, Nabil Issa, Hind Abdel Halim, Islam Gamal, Ismail Farghaly, Salim Al-Turk, Nihal Anbar, Lubna Wes, Sandy Ali, and the work is written by Mohamed Nair and directed by Ahmed Abdo.
