Supply Directorate announced Qalyubiaheaded by Dr. Tamer Salah Mukhtar, Undersecretary and Director of the Directorate, announced the continuation of work according to the scheduled times for municipal bakeries throughout the month of Ramadan 2026, in order to ensure the provision of subsidized municipal bread to citizens regularly throughout the days of the holy month, starting at eight in the morning.
The Supply Directorate explained that some bakeries end their work at five in the evening, while a number of them are allowed to continue operating during the evening period until nine in the evening, according to the needs of each region and its population density, and based on the directorate’s plan and the requests of bakery owners.
She added that all city and governorate councils have been notified of these dates, and the relevant catering departments have been alerted to follow up on implementation, to ensure regular production and distribution throughout the day, and to achieve liquidity and streamlined bread dispensing.
