Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced that a meeting will be scheduled between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US presidential envoy Steve Witkov on Thursday.
In response to statements by the American media that reported Witkov’s intention to meet with President Putin, Peskov said, according to what Sputnik reported, saying: “Yes, indeed, these contacts are on the president’s agenda tomorrow.”

US envoy Steve Witkoff had previously told Reuters during an interview with the American network CNBC, saying: We are scheduled to meet Putin on Thursday.
This meeting comes within the framework of continued communication between Washington and Moscow on bilateral and international issues of common interest.
