The National Emergency and Public Safety Network in Suez Governorate announced a five-hour power cut to 12 areas and service facilities in the Suez district, today, Saturday, as part of maintenance and programming work on the Suez Electrical Engineering, which requires disconnecting the power from nine in the morning until two in the afternoon.

The network explained, in an official statement, that the areas and facilities affected by the power outage include the Suez Police Department, Banque Misr, Abu Al-Azayem Hospital, the Rescue Building in front of the Suez Department, Abu Al-Azayem Church, Maher Street, Al-Khaliliya School, Talaat Harb Street, Fatyat Al-Islam School, and the Commercial Syndicate, in addition to a gas station in front of the Orange Company.
A major cleaning campaign at Al Ansari Market
On the other hand, Brigadier General Ahmed Alaa El-Din, head of the Suez District, led an expanded cleaning campaign targeting the Al-Ansari Market area and its surrounding areas, as part of the district’s efforts to raise the efficiency of cleanliness and improve the general appearance.
The head of the Suez district said, in press statements, that the campaign succeeded in removing large quantities of waste from inside the market and neighboring areas, calling on citizens to cooperate with executive agencies, and not to throw waste in places other than those designated for it, in order to preserve the cleanliness and civilized appearance of the city.
