Investigations revealed details of the foiling of an attempt to smuggle a quantity of ice into Cairo International Airport, by a beauty professor who works at one of the major Arab universities in the Jordanian capital, Amman, and enjoys wide fame on social media sites.

Investigations added that the accused, a well-known plastic surgeon followed by hundreds of thousands on social media platforms, tried to insert about a kilogram of the anesthetic ice, carefully hidden inside a sensitive prosthetic limb she was wearing, in an attempt to camouflage the inspection devices.
The investigations revealed that the vigilance of the female police officers and the experience of the Cairo Airport detectives played a decisive role in uncovering the incident, as the accused was suspected during the inspection procedures, and upon careful examination, the narcotic substances were found hidden in the manner of one of the famous similar cases.
Immediately, the accused was taken into custody and taken to the competent investigation authorities, where a report was drawn up regarding the incident, and she was referred to the Nuzha Prosecution Office to initiate investigations and take the necessary legal measures.
In the same context, men from the General Department of Narcotics Control continue to collect investigations into the accused, to determine the nature of her activity, and whether she works within an international network for smuggling narcotic substances, or the presence of other partners inside or outside the country.
The investigations confirmed that the investigations are still ongoing, and that any developments will be announced as soon as the competent authorities finish examining the seized items and complete the investigations.
