The services are provided completely free of charge according to an approved scientific method that guarantees the accuracy of the results and the confidentiality of the data, in cooperation with the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics, provided that the results are announced after the completion of the survey work.
The Veterinary Medicine Directorate carried out an expanded campaign in the 5,000 area, where the dogs in question were examined and appeared to be free of signs of ferocity or disease. It was also decided to carry out sterilization and vaccination work for a large number of dogs in the suburbs and flowers neighborhood, while educating citizens about methods of safe handling and prevention of rabies, with campaigns continuing weekly to preserve public health and the civilized appearance of the governorate.
The city witnessed an intense influx of visitors and residents of the governorate to a number of attractions and markets, as the salt mountains in the city of Port Fouad attracted large numbers of citizens to take pictures and enjoy the natural atmosphere.
