I witnessed Port Said Governorate During the past 24 hours, important events occurred in the development and services sectors, as the executive bodies continued their efforts in projects to raise efficiency in the city of Port Fouad and the southern neighborhoods, in addition to continuing daily campaigns to improve the level of cleanliness in various regions.

Business continued development And raising the efficiency of Al-Muatasem Billah Street in the city of Port Fouad, in coordination with the Sinai Reconstruction Authority, where the works extended from the intersection of Al-Jalaa Street to Nour Al-Islam Street, 600 meters long and 30 meters wide, and included paving and expansion, raising the efficiency of lighting, implementing landscaping, strengthening the network of rain sewers, and increasing green areas, in a way that enhances traffic flow and is in line with the plan to upgrade the city’s main and secondary roads.
The city of Port Fouad began implementing the first phase of developing communications services within the 9000 project housing, through the construction of the second tower to strengthen mobile networks, in response to residents’ complaints and improve the quality of service in the new urban areas, in accordance with the joint Egyptian protocol between the ministries of health, communications and environment to ensure the highest standards of safety and environmental preservation.
The development work of “Gamal Abdel Nasser” Park in the New Salam and Tasni’ areas in the Suburbia neighborhood also continued. The work included the implementation of new plantings, pedestrian walkways, sidewalk sidewalks, and the installation of a new water outlet to support the irrigation network, while adhering to the specified timetable for development work, in preparation for increasing the green areas and creating a civilized outlet for the people of the southern regions.
The neighborhoods of Port Said witnessed intensive campaigns to remove waste and improve the level of cleanliness, as the Al-Zohour neighborhood teams continued the work of removing garbage and sweeping around the 5,000-unit medical center, with the participation of the neighborhood’s equipment during the morning shift, while the suburbs neighborhood carried out similar work in the streets of Aswan and the surrounding residential areas, and the Al-Manakh neighborhood witnessed an expanded campaign in the Old Arab area, which included Al-Amin, Kasri, Saad Zaghloul, Orabi, Ibrahim Al-Moji, Field Marshal Ahmed Ismail and Adly streets, in addition to the vicinity of Maryam Mosque and Diwan Al-Arab District. To raise the efficiency of the environment and achieve an integrated civilized appearance.

Daily efforts continued in all neighborhoods to raise the level of cleanliness, support the solid waste system, and improve the quality of life for citizens, reflecting the civilized image of Port Said Governorate and confirming the continuation of intensive work to serve the people and improve the environment surrounding them.
