I witnessed Port Said Governorate During the past 24 hours, important events took place, as the executive authorities continued their intensive field campaigns to restore discipline on the street, in addition to receiving a large tourist group, and taking serious steps to pay teachers’ arrears, within the framework of improving the level of services and responding to citizens’ complaints.

I continued Biology And the city of Port Fouad campaigns to remove occupancy and encroachments, as the mayor of Port Fouad led an extensive campaign to lift occupancy and open sidewalks to citizens, while the East neighborhood witnessed intensive evening campaigns that resulted in the confiscation of occupancy and violating vehicles, with an emphasis on adherence to the laws, and in the Arab neighborhood, complaints of drainage overflows in the Kuwait area were dealt with immediately and their causes were removed, while the Al-Manakh neighborhood intensified cleaning work and removed accumulations to preserve the civilized appearance, in parallel with night tours. In the Al-Zohour neighborhood, to monitor the shops’ compliance with closing times, and to continue developing and raising the efficiency of lighting in the Al-Dawahi neighborhood.
In the same context, the Unified Center for Shop Licensing carried out campaigns to close and wax establishments violating the closing times in the Al-Sharq neighborhood, taking immediate legal measures, and emphasizing the necessity of reconciling the conditions of unlicensed shops.
On the tourism front, the governorate received the international cruise ship “AIDA STELLA” with 2,067 tourists and 648 crew on board, organizing tours for them that included the landmarks of Port Said and Port Fouad, amid widespread praise from tourists for the beauty and cleanliness of the city, which reflects the growing international confidence in the tourist destination in Port Said.
In the education file, the governor announced the start of disbursing the arrears of financial dues to teachers, after the Ministry of Finance agreed to enhance the wage items by an amount of 15 million pounds as a first payment, provided that the disbursement takes place in accordance with the precedence of judicial rulings, in a way that achieves justice among the beneficiaries.

The governorate concluded its efforts by emphasizing the continuation of daily campaigns and field presence, to ensure that occupancy does not return, and to achieve public discipline, while continuing to improve the level of services provided to citizens in various sectors.
