The security services at the Ministry of Interior revealed the circumstances of the incident in which a person named Wijaz Al-Ghalaba climbed onto the wall of a bridge in Cairo, hung on to a lighting pole, and performed spectacle, endangering his life and others.

For its part, the Ministry of Interior issued a statement regarding the incident, which said: In the context of uncovering the circumstances of what was reported to the security services in the Cairo Security Directorate, a person climbed onto the fence of one of the bridges in the Gardens Police Department, clinging to a lighting pole, and performing spectacle movements, endangering his life and others.

It was possible to identify and arrest the perpetrator of the incident, who had criminal information residing in the Al-Waili Police Department. Upon confronting him, it was found that he was raving incomprehensible phrases. Legal measures were taken, and coordination is underway with the relevant authorities to place him in a psychiatric hospital.

Before his arrest, The young man, Haitham Ahmed, the owner of the famous Intouch and Agri trend, has returned to the forefront again after a recent video was circulated of him, in which he appeared walking in the street in untidy clothes and a shabby appearance, showing signs of fatigue, which raised the concern of the public who interacted years ago with his trend, which achieved wide spread on social networking sites.

The trend was spread about three years ago, when Haitham appeared dancing spontaneously on the roof of a building, wearing sunglasses, to Michael Jackson’s song Smooth Criminal, with spontaneous and incomprehensible lyrics, before the video turned into a widespread wave of imitation among users.

His father had previously stated when he was at the top of the trend that his son suffers from a psychological disorder but refused treatment, that he works in a Jewish sailors’ workshop, and that his friends called him “Weegz the poor man” because of his presence and lightheartedness.

But the last video sparked a wave of sympathy, after the young man appeared in it in an unusual way, amid demands from followers to pay attention to him and provide him with social or psychological support.
