The South District also intensified its field campaigns on commercial shops to ensure compliance with regulating laws and prevent any random manifestations, as part of a comprehensive plan to restore discipline and improve the civilized appearance.

In a related context, the executive agencies in the suburban and Arab neighborhoods and the city of Port Fouad continued their expanded campaigns to close and wax garbage sorting shops and remove occupancies, as the suburban neighborhood witnessed expanded campaigns in the areas of Sayyida Nafisa, Abdul Rahman Shukri, and Imam Muhammad Abdou, which resulted in the removal of all encroachments and the removal of mattresses, wooden banks, wheelbarrows, tents, and umbrellas that impede the movement of pedestrians.
