The tour included the salt mountains in the city of Port Fouad, the passenger ferry, and Faryal Park, as it came within the framework of introducing the tourist and heritage destinations of Port Said, and highlighting its special nature and ancient history, amid a friendly, humane and cheerful atmosphere.

The ferry passengers witnessed poignant spiritual moments, as the contestants chanted prophetic praises and recited verses from the Holy Qur’an, amid wide interaction from the people and the ferry passengers, in a spontaneous scene characterized by joy and happiness, which contributed to creating a state of human and cultural rapprochement, and achieved a remarkable tourism boom for the city.

The competition, in its ninth international edition, bears the name of the late Sheikh Mahmoud Ali Al-Banna, and is held under the patronage of Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, with the support and supervision of Major General Moheb Habashi, Governor of Port Said, and the supervision of Dr. Amr Othman, Deputy Governor, and journalist Adel Moselhi, Executive Director. 42 contestants from 32 countries participate in it, and today is scheduled to witness the closing ceremony and the announcement of the names of the winners, during a major celebration held in the presence of executive and religious leaders, and crowds of people.
