Dr. Jacqueline Azer, Governor of Beheira, decided to reduce the value of the internal transport tariff within the governorate to five pounds for all lines, in a step to reduce the daily burden on passengers and facilitate the movement of citizens, especially during the holy month.

The governor confirmed that this measure comes within the framework of the governorate’s ongoing efforts to improve the level of public services, facilitate the movement of citizens, and ensure safe and comfortable transportation for all passengers within the governorate centers.
The governor stressed the importance of following up on compliance with the new tariff on the ground, while intensifying oversight in coordination with all concerned parties to ensure its systematic implementation, ensure commitment and discipline, and improve services provided to citizens.
