The first episode of the Sawa Sawa series starring Ahmed Malek and Hoda Al-Mufti was shown, and the initial scenes revealed the nature of the emotional relationship between Ibrahim and Ahlam, and that it is not just a traditional romantic line, but rather a dramatic path based on the conflict between love and miserable reality.

The first episode witnessed that this relationship was not given enough time to be reassured, as Ahlam’s father decided to cancel her book from Ibrahim and marry her to his friend, which puts love in direct confrontation with patriarchal authority, and from here the conflict turns into an emotional controversy.
As for Ahlam Ahmed Abdel Hamid’s brother, he lives in his own world and takes shelter with his sister. He intervenes out of protection, so things get out of control and the groom is killed in a tragic moment of confusion.
The closing scene, with Ahlam arrested and Ibrahim standing helpless, does not provide an answer so much as it opens the door to heavy questions about the price that love can pay when it is trapped.
The Sawa Sawa series revolves around Ibrahim and Ahlam, two young men trying to achieve their simplest dreams of being together, but the circumstances surrounding them hinder this.
The series stars a number of actors alongside Ahmed Malek and Hoda Al-Mufti, including Ahmed Abdel Hamid, Noha Abdeen, Khaled Kamal, Hosni Sheta, and presents a realistic treatment, written by Mohab Tariq, and directed by Essam Abdel Hamid.
