The Drinking Water and Sanitation Company in Quesna, Menoufia Governorate, announced that it had cut off water from the village of Umm Khanan, due to a malfunction in a 4-inch diameter water line at the first entrance to the village. The outage will continue for a period ranging from 3 to 4 hours until the repair work is completed.

The company explained that the separation process includes the entire Umm Khanan Al Bahr area, confirming that maintenance teams will be deployed to repair the faults as quickly as possible and to re-pump water immediately upon completion of the work.
The company calls on citizens, bakery owners, and vital businesses to manage their water needs during the outage period until service returns normally.
