The Shubra El Kheima Criminal Court, Fourth District, sentenced each of the defendants to life imprisonment and fined each of the defendants an amount of 100,000 pounds, after convicting them of trafficking in heroin and possessing a firearm and ammunition without a license in the Second District, Shubra El Kheima, Qalyubia Governorate.

The ruling was issued under the chairmanship of Counselor Dr. Reda Ahmed Eid, and the membership of Counselors Mustafa Rashad Mahmoud Mustafa, Muhammad Abdel Moez Al-Ghamrawi, Muhammad Hosni Al-Dabaa, and the Secretary Assem Tayel.

The details of the case go back to when the Public Prosecution referred the accused, Ibrahim A.H.M. (24 years old – worker), and Ziad A.R.A.A. (21 years old – worker), in felony No. 10029 of 2025, Second District, Shubra Al-Kheima, registered under No. 2156 of 2025, all of South Banha, to accuse them of trafficking in the essence of the heroin drug, one of the “Andazole” derivatives. Carboxamide” for the purpose of trafficking in cases other than those authorized by law, on February 12, 2028, in the Second Division, Shubra Al-Kheima.

The referral order also attributed to the first defendant his possession and possession of an unloaded firearm (a single cartridge) without a license, and ammunition consisting of a birdshot used on the same weapon, without a permit for possession or possession.

Investigations revealed that the second accused possessed the same firearm and ammunition through the first accused, without being licensed to do so, as proven in the investigation papers.
