The young man, Ahmed Al-Tahan, of determination, was keen to cast his vote in the House of Representatives elections within his electoral committee at the Martyr Tayyar School in the city of Sohag, despite his reliance on crutches to move around, in a scene that reflects his national awareness and his insistence on performing his constitutional duty.

“Al-Tahhan” caught the attention of voters and those in charge of the electoral process the moment he entered the committee, as employees rushed to facilitate voting procedures and provide the necessary support for him, stressing the state’s keenness to provide comfort to all citizens, especially people of determination.
Ahmed Al-Tahan stressed in his statements that he came today to participate “out of love for the homeland,” stressing that participating in the elections is everyone’s responsibility, and that the voice of every citizen can make a difference in forming a council that expresses the aspirations of the people.
The scene received wide praise from citizens within the committee, who considered his participation to be an exemplary model of awareness and will, and a clear message to young people of the necessity of supporting the democratic process and contributing to it in a positive way.
Sohag Governorate has previously prepared to receive 3 million, 375 thousand and 700 voters who have the right to vote in the House of Representatives elections, which are scheduled to be held on Wednesday and Thursday, December 3 and 4, after the governorate announced earlier the readiness of 550 electoral headquarters and 586 subcommittees distributed among its various centers. These preparations come in implementation of the decisions of the National Elections Authority, which specified that elections be held in 7 out of 8 electoral districts within the governorate.
