The Kuwait Meteorological Department expected that the weather in Kuwait today, Sunday, will witness rain in various areas, especially the coastal and northern areas, with a noticeable drop in temperatures and active to sometimes strong winds that stir up dust, which calls for caution on the part of citizens and residents. Forecasts indicate that cloudy conditions and the possibility of rain may continue during the coming hours, with temperatures remaining relatively low.

The Meteorological Department stated in its daily statement that: Weather in Kuwait Today it will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times, with some cumulus clouds interspersed with the possibility of rain falling in separate areas, especially the coastal and northern regions of the country.

She indicated that these weather conditions will be accompanied by a noticeable drop in temperatures compared to previous days, which will make the weather more moderate during the day and tend to be cold during the night and early morning hours, especially in the northern and interior regions.

According to data issued by weather monitoring stations, the weather condition in Kuwait today will witness a variation in temperatures between different regions, as Nuwaiseeb is expected to record the highest maximum temperature at 23 degrees Celsius and the lowest at 13 degrees, followed by Al-Jahra with a maximum of 22 degrees and a minimum of 14 degrees, and Al-Ahmadi, Al-Manaqish, and Mutreba with a maximum of 24, 22, and 21 degrees, respectively. As for Kuwait City, it is expected to record a maximum of 20 degrees and a minimum of 15 degrees, and at Kuwait Airport a maximum of 21 degrees and a minimum of 12 degrees, which reflects the clear drop in temperatures compared to the past days.

The administration indicated that the weather condition in Kuwait today will witness a noticeable activity in wind movement, as it will be light to moderate in speed, but it will become active to strong at times with the formation of clouds, raising dust and dust in some open and desert areas, which may lead to a decrease in horizontal visibility on some external and internal roads. The wind movement will be southeasterly to northwesterly, at a speed ranging from 10 to 25 kilometers per hour, and may reach 45 kilometers per hour when it is strong, which requires extreme caution from drivers, especially on highways and open areas.

In the northern and northwestern regions, Abdali is expected to record a maximum of 20 degrees and a minimum of 13 degrees, and it is one of the areas that may witness greater rainfall as it is among the northern areas targeted by the rainy condition. As for Warba and Bubiyan, it will record a maximum of 18 degrees and a minimum of 10 degrees, which is one of the lowest temperatures expected in the country, making the atmosphere relatively cold in this northern coastal region. In Salmi, the temperature will reach a maximum of 20 degrees and a minimum of 10 degrees, reflecting the relative coldness in the western and northern regions.

In the coastal areas, the weather in Kuwait today is expected to witness scattered rain, as forecasts indicated, as Salmiya will record a maximum of 22 degrees and a minimum of 17 degrees, and Failaka a maximum of 19 degrees and a minimum of 12 degrees. These coastal areas are expected to witness activity in cumulus clouds with a greater possibility of rainfall as a result of marine influences and high humidity coming from the Arabian Gulf. As for Wafra, it will record 23 highs and 11 lows, Manakish 22 highs and 12 lows, and Mutreba 21 highs and 12 lows.

Regarding maritime conditions, the administration stated that the weather condition in Kuwait today will affect maritime traffic moderately, as the waves in the Arabian Gulf are expected to be light to moderate, but will be disturbed at times with the formation of rain clouds, which calls for caution on the part of fishermen, seafarers, and owners of small boats. It is expected that the first tide will occur in the Arabian Gulf at 09:02 am and the second tide at 20:53 pm, while the first low tide will occur at 15:57 pm and the second low tide at 02:25 after midnight.

In the Sea of ​​Oman, waves are expected to be light to moderate, with relatively more stable sea conditions. It is expected that the first tide will occur in the Sea of ​​Oman at 7:11 pm and the second tide at 05:43 am, while the first low tide will occur at 12:20 pm and the second high tide at 00:15 after midnight. These timings help fishermen and seagoers organize their marine activities in a safe and appropriate manner, taking into account the possibility of wave disturbance with cloud formation.
