Check out engineer Mohamed Shimi, Minister of Public Business SectorToday, Factory 4 produces cars Al-Malaki, in preparation for its launch, followed during his tour the operating tests of the modern production lines that were recently supplied, according to the latest international technologies, to Al-Nasr Automotive Manufacturing Company, affiliated with the Holding Company for Metallurgical Industries, one of the companies of the Ministry of Public Business Sector, at the company’s headquarters in the Wadi Hof area in Helwan.

The factory includes integrated lines for assembling and producing cars, an advanced treatment line for the car body to protect against rust, in addition to the largest car paint line in Egypt that works with automated robots for exterior painting, ensuring the highest levels of quality and production efficiency. This comes within a comprehensive development project that the factory recently witnessed.

As part of the ongoing field tours to follow up on the progress of work and learn about the latest developments in the production processes and development projects of the affiliated companies, the visit also included an inspection of Factory 3 for the production of buses and minibuses, where the Minister was briefed on the progress of work in the various production lines and manufacturing stages, with a production capacity of up to about 300 Nasr Sky buses annually, with the aim of increasing it during the coming period, with a local component percentage of 63.5%.

The inspection also included the production of the Nasr Star minibus, which was recently added, with a design capacity of up to 500 minibuses annually, and a local component percentage exceeding 70%, as part of efforts to localize the industry and deepen local manufacturing, in addition to reviewing the ongoing preparations for the production of buses and electric minibuses, in support of the country’s trend towards shifting to clean and sustainable means of transportation, and keeping pace with the latest global trends in the vehicle industry.

During his tour, Engineer Muhammad Shimi met with the company’s employees, praising their efforts and stressing that the human element represents the basic pillar of the production process, and one of the most important factors for the success of development plans and support of the national industry.
