Journalist Ahmed Shoubir revealed new details regarding the crisis Imam Ashour With Al-Ahly after he failed to travel with the team delegation to Tanzania to face Young Africans in the African Champions League.

Ahmed Schubert’s statements

Ahmed Schubert said on Live via his official accounts: The beginning of the crisis for Imam Ashour was with the penalty kick in the Wadi Degla match, as he wanted to take it, but Torop saw that Zizou was going through a crisis, so he ordered Zizou to take the penalty kick, and between the two halves of the match, an argument occurred between Imam Ashour and Mohamed Hani, and Shawia Zaiq and Walid Salah El-Din got a little emotional, but the crisis ended after the match, and everyone said it was fine, but Hani was a little upset.

He added: After the Al-Ahly match, he took leave, and the rally was at the airport on Thursday, and the plane was scheduled for 9 a.m., and there was a call between Imam Ashour and Al-Ahly’s doctor the second day of the Degla match, which was the team’s vacation, and he said to the doctor, “I am tired,” but the doctor said to him, “You are fine,” and there are no indications that say you are tired. But Imam insisted on his words and said, “No, I am tired,” and they said, “I am tired.” The doctor said, “No, come and tell them this at the airport, and I will not make a decision.” By excluding you and I don’t see you. Imam said, “I told you I am tired.” The doctor said, “No.” The decision here is an administrative and technical decision for Torop.

Schubert explained in his statements: They waited at the airport for a while and tried to contact Imam, but he, his wife, and everyone close to him had their phone switched off, and Mohamed El-Damaty, the head of the delegation, was worried and began to inform Al-Khatib, the people, and Walid Salah – the football manager – and he said, “We arrived at the airport and Imam Ashour was not with the team, and there was a state of extreme astonishment, and he told the delegation that they traveled without Imam Ashour… and Al-Ahly looked at the regulations very well.”

He pointed out: I contacted a person very close to the agent and he explained to me that Adam Watani swore that he had nothing to do with what happened in the Imam Ashour and Al-Ahly crisis and that he was far removed from this matter.

Schubert confirmed: There is a very intense state of anger on the part of the players towards Imam Ashour because they are not accustomed to this happening at a difficult time like this and that the matter was normal. I called Imam Ashour but I did not know how to reach him.

Ahmed Schubert concluded his statements by saying: Imam Ashour needs to study the history of Al-Ahly… Al-Ahly will adhere to the regulations and the punishment will be implemented on the player and will not be reduced. If Imam Ashour does not come to training tomorrow and does not clarify the matter, his career with Al-Ahly club may end.
