
revealed Artist Bushraabout being exposed to 3 cases of harassment since she was young, noting that her personal experience was one of the reasons behind her participation in the movie “6 7 8,” explaining that the first incident occurred when she was a child while she was riding a microbus to go to her lessons, as a man tried to physically assault her, but she was able to scream and call for help from a colleague, which helped her survive.
Bushra added, during her interview on the “Asrar” program with journalist Amira Badr, broadcast on Al-Nahar channel, that the experience was difficult, but it gave her awareness of the importance of caution in public transportation from a young age, explaining that exposure to harassment did not stop with this incident, but rather it was repeated at different times while she was going to the institute or in the street, but she always tried to protect herself and rely on her ability to escape and confront.
The artist, Bushra, confirmed that the goal of her participation in the film was to shed light on this widespread phenomenon in society, and to address the various issues of harassment that women are exposed to in public places and at work, stressing that the film reflects a reality we live in, and I was happy to contribute to raising this issue through art. She revealed that the third time she was subjected to harassment in the field of work, saying: “Once as a producer and once as a journalist.”
