Dr. Hisham Zaki, Head of the Central Administration of Non-Governmental Treatment Institutions, confirmed that the necessary legal measures were being taken against violators, with the continuation of monitoring campaigns nationwide, noting that serious violations had been monitored, including the absence of the technical director, practicing the profession without a license, deficiencies in infection control, lack of regular records, and violations in dealing with hazardous waste.

For his part, Dr. Ahmed Al-Nahhas, Head of the Central Administration of the Technical Secretariat of the National Council for Mental Health, stressed that these centers violated the laws regulating non-governmental medical facilities and the Mental Health Law, and lacked infection control and environmental law requirements, which exposes their residents to serious health risks.

Dr. Al-Nahhas called on citizens to check the licenses of any treatment facility before dealing with it, and to submit complaints via the hotline 01207474740 (call or WhatsApp), or through the council’s official pages on Facebook and Instagram.
