Talaea El Gaish team defeated Ceramica Cleopatra team with two goals to none, in the match that brought together the two teams at the Sports Authority Stadium in the group stage of the League Cup (Capital of Egypt Cup).
The two goals of Talaie El Gaish’s victory over Cleopatra Ceramica were scored by Islam Mohareb in the 43rd minute, and Ahmed Alaa in the 96th minute.
With this victory, the Tala’ea El Gaish team earned its first 3 points in the group stage, leading the first group in the tournament.
In another context, the Egyptian Football Association’s Competitions Department has set the dates for the remaining matches of the 32nd round of the Egyptian Cup, which include matches for the Al-Ahly, Zamalek, Pyramids, Ceramica Cleopatra and Modern Sport teams.
The Competitions Administration has set December 22 as the date for the Al-Masry vs. Dikernes and Pyramids vs. FC Masar matches, while December 23 has been set as the date for the Ceramica Cleopatra and Abu Qir Fertilizers match.
The Competitions Administration has set December 26 as the date for the match between Zed and Alo Egypt (G), while 3 matches will be held on December 27, where Modern Sport will meet Al-Qanat, Al-Ahly will meet Telecom Egypt, and Zamalek will face Mahalla Municipality.
The Competitions Administration also set the dates for 3 matches within the round of 16, where the match between Vanguards of El Gaish and Kahraba Ismailia will be held on December 27th, the match between the National Bank and Enppi will be held on December 28th, and the match between Haras El Hodoud and Smouha will be held on the same day.
Determining the dates for the remaining matches of the round of 16 of the Egyptian Cup was postponed until the identity of its parties becomes completely clear.
