The security services in the Qalyubia Security Directorate, under the supervision of Major General Ashraf Gaballah, Assistant Minister of the Interior for the Qalyubia Security Sector, revealed the circumstances of the circulation of a video clip on social media sites that included a person harassing one of the girls.

Through the examination led by Lieutenant Colonel Wael Abdeen, Chief of Investigations of the Qalyoub Police Department, and the assistance of Captain Abdel Hamid Gendia, Captain Maximus Majed, Captain Muhammad Khadr, and Captain Saif Al-Kharjawi, the person shown in the video clip was identified and his name is “Mohamed S,” a carpentry worker.
After codifying the procedures, the accused was arrested and confronted him. He confessed to committing the incident as referred to.
A report was drawn up regarding the incident, and the Public Prosecution took over the investigation and ordered the accused to be detained for 4 days pending investigation.
