Gold reserves are registered with the bank Central Al-Masry reached a new high during November 2025, after the bank’s balance increased by about 10.74 thousand ounces, bringing its total possessions to about 4.153 million ounces, compared to 4.142 million ounces at the end of last October.

The latest data showed that the central bank bought about 73.69 thousand ounces of gold over the first 11 months of the year, as part of its strategy to enhance reserves and diversify foreign exchange components.
At the value level, the gold balance at the Central Bank increased by about $707 million, reaching $17.251 billion, compared to $16.545 billion in the previous period, driven by the increase in quantities and the rise in prices of the precious metal globally.
This increase reflects the Central Bank’s continued trend to support the strength of monetary reserves and enhance financial solvency in the face of global economic fluctuations.
