The competent investigation authorities decided to release the two perpetrators of the trend of praying for the Prophet, pending case No. 904 of 2026, a misdemeanor on the third of the tenth of Ramadan.

The investigating authorities had ordered the formation of a tripartite committee of specialists from the Tenth of Ramadan City Development Authority, to move to the location of the signs at the scene of the incident, and to conduct a careful technical inspection of them.
The investigation authorities assigned the committee to count the number of signs that were destroyed, and to determine the value of the damage resulting from the incident, provided that a detailed report of the results of the inspection is prepared and presented to the investigation authorities immediately upon completion to take the appropriate decision.
The confessions of the owners of the “Pray for the Prophet” trend revealed surprises, as it was revealed that they had fabricated the incident, and claimed that they were the owners of the “Pray for the Prophet” sign, contrary to the truth, in order to gain views and fame.

Lawyer Ashraf Sharaf El-Din, defending the defendants, explained that the owners of the “Pray for the Prophet” trend incident said before the investigating authorities: We do not know anything about this matter and have nothing to do with it, and this sign is not ours and we did not install it. We rode this trend to increase the reach and views.
They added that they did not hang any banners anywhere, but rather attributed the incident to them in order to achieve more views, fabricating the incident for the sake of the trend.
Earlier, a number of lawyers filed complaints against the owners of the “Pray for the Prophet” trend, as the reports accused them of damaging public roads.
