I settled down Gold prices With the beginning of today’s trading, Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the same levels at which it ended yesterday, Friday, after the price of a gram of 21 carat gold recorded the level of 6655 pounds.

Gold prices today, Saturday

  • The price of a gram of 24 karat gold was about 7,605 pounds
  • The price of a gram of 21 carat gold reached about 6,655 pounds
  • A gram of 18 karat gold reached about 5,704 pounds
  • The price of the gold pound reached 53,240 pounds
  • The global price of an ounce reached $4,978

Bank of America expects the average real price of gold to reach about $4,538 per ounce during 2026, with silver, platinum and palladium prices likely to rise.

Michael Widmer, head of metals research at Bank of America, noted that silver may be more attractive to investors with a high risk appetite, with the gold-to-silver ratio currently at about 59, compared to historical lows of 32 in 2011 and 14 in 1980.

Widmer stressed that the strong waves of gold’s rise do not end simply because of the rise in prices, but rather with the disappearance of the basic supporting factors, indicating that the market is still below its fair investment level, with ample room to enhance the role of gold in investment portfolios.
He explained that an increase in investment demand by only 14% may push prices to the current target, while reaching $8,000 requires an increase in demand by 55%.
