EgyptAir confirmed that there is absolutely no truth to what was recently circulated in some media and social media pages regarding halting the deal to include new aircraft in the company’s fleet.

EgyptAir, the Egyptian national carrier, stated in a statement that it is continuing to implement its ambitious plan to modernize and develop its air fleet according to the approved schedule to include 34 new Airbus and Boeing aircraft, as the first Airbus A350-900 aircraft is expected to join the fleet. Fleet mAt the beginning of 2026, followed by the receipt of the first Boeing B737-8Max aircraft, provided that the contracted aircraft of the two models will continue to be received successively until the end of 2031.
EgyptAir stressed the need for media outlets and social media platforms to adhere to standards of accuracy and professionalism, and to rely on official sources before publishing or circulating any incorrect information, which contributes to preventing the spread of rumors among public opinion.
