
Taher Al-Gharbawi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in the Governorate, headed the meeting Port SaidToday, an expanded meeting was held with the heads of the preparatory certificate examination committees, in the main conference hall in the General Office of the Directorate.
This came in the presence of Mr. Al-Husseini Ragheb, Director General of Public Education, Mr. Ihab Abdel Maqsoud, Director General of Executive Affairs, Mr. Yasser Salah, Director of the Student Affairs and Examinations Department, Mr. Mohamed Hegazy, Director of the Secret Printing Press, Ms. Manal Etman, Chairman of the System and Monitoring Committee, and the directors of educational departments and directors of educational stages.

The Director of the Directorate welcomed the attendees, stressing that examination work is a national mission that we carry out to the fullest extent with the concerted efforts of everyone, considering that education is a national security that cannot be compromised or negligent in, pointing out that those who are negligent have no place among Port Said education workers.
Prohibiting the entry of a mobile phone and its accessories from the committee’s main gate, and the violator will bear the legal consequences
Al-Gharbawi stressed that preparatory school students are not allowed to bring a mobile phone and its accessories from the main gate of the committees, stressing that anyone who violates this or neglects to implement the instructions will expose himself to legal accountability and the imposition of deterrent penalties, whether he is a student or one of those in charge of the examination process.
The Director of the Directorate directed the necessity of taking into account the psychological factor of students and exercising self-control to the utmost degree while dealing with them, while providing the ideal examination climate and atmosphere, as they are a trust in the hands of everyone, while at the same time committing to implementing the laws and procedures followed regarding any behavioral violations or cases of cheating that are monitored.
Professor Taher Al-Gharbawi noted that the Legal Affairs Department provided a teacher’s guide booklet on organizing examination work to committee heads, with the aim of introducing them to the rights and duties while conducting examination work, in accordance with the laws, regulations and ministerial periodicals regulating this matter.
The Director of the Directorate also assigned all directors of general, directors of educational departments and their representatives, to follow up on the regularity of the examination process from its first day and on a daily basis in all committees within the scope of educational departments, each in his specialty, with daily reports submitted to him on the results of these follow-ups.
Al-Gharabawi emphasized to the committee heads the need to communicate immediately and directly with him personally or with the Director General of Public Education if any problem occurs or any emergency circumstance is detected during the committees’ meetings, in order to quickly intervene, take the necessary measures, and find radical solutions that ensure the completion of the examination work in an optimal manner without obstacles.
It is noteworthy that the preparatory certificate exams in Port Said Governorate will be held during the period from Saturday, January 17, until Thursday, January 22, 2026, using the “Bocklet” exam paper system, which has been circulated to all preparatory school grades.
