President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi issued a set of clear assignments to the new government Headed by Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, following the amendment of the ministerial formation, stressing the necessity of adhering to the axes of the presidential mandate issued when forming the government by Republican Decree No. 258 of 2024.
The President stressed that the government’s work remains focused on four main files: national security and foreign policy, economic development, production, energy and food security, in addition to the file of society and human building, as they are priorities that cannot be postponed at the current stage.

The President instructed the government to develop a clear plan for each ministry, which includes specific targets, executive procedures, timetable, and funding sources, in addition to performance measurement indicators, provided that these plans are subject to continuous monitoring and evaluation.
Ministerial reshuffle
Regarding the economic file, the President stressed the priority of improving economic conditions in a sustainable manner, through an active role of the Economic Group, led by the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, to ensure coordination between the relevant ministries and achieve harmony in policies, especially with the approaching end of the International Monetary Fund program at the end of this year, and the move towards reducing public debt through new ideas carefully studied in terms of their near and long-term effects.
The President also directed to continue implementing the state ownership policy with concrete steps, and to increase the participation of the private sector in economic activity, as it is a major partner in achieving growth and creating job opportunities.
The President called on the government to expand into new areas to support the national economy, especially in the technology sectors, rare metals, and related industries, while encouraging innovation and financing scientific research and turning it into practical applications.
Regarding social affairs, the President stressed the sustainable improvement of the education system with all its components, increasing attention to the health of citizens, and facilitating their access to therapeutic services, as this is a basic pillar for building the Egyptian human being.

The President also stressed the necessity of upholding the values of citizenship, equality, and non-discrimination, and encouraging participation in public affairs through transparent procedures, in addition to completing the constitutional entitlement for local councils, in a way that enhances popular participation in monitoring local administration units and controlling administrative performance.
At the conclusion of the assignments, President Sisi stressed the importance of public opinion and the necessity of continuously informing citizens of the facts, through professional and responsible national media, capable of confronting rumours, building collective awareness of the current challenges, promoting a culture of dialogue and respect for other opinions, and developing sound thinking within society.
