The body received National elections A notification of the death of Ahmed Al-Sayed Abdel-Al Ahmed, known as Ahmed Jaafar, a candidate on the individual system for the House of Representatives elections in the Fifth District, headquartered in the Hadayek Al-Qubba section in Cairo Governorate, days before he ran in the run-off stage.
Candidate Sayed Eid escalates to run in the run-off round
The Board of Directors of the National Elections Authority, headed by Judge Hazem Badawi, issued – in its session held today – a decision to advance the candidate Sayed Muhammad Eid Abdullah, known as Sayed Eid, to run in the runoff round, as the candidate who was next in line to the two candidates who were announced to run in the runoff round in terms of number of votes.
The National Elections Authority extended its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased candidate, may he rest in peace, as well as to the voters, the people of his district, who gave him their votes in the first round, asking God Almighty to bestow His mercy on the deceased.
