The competent authorities released blogger Nourhan Hefzy from the police station after completing her release procedures, after the court ruled her innocence on charges of drug use.

Earlier, Nourhan Hefzy’s defense said in exclusive statements to Cairo 24 that she had completed her release procedures and would be released from the police station this evening.
The Al-Haram Appellate Criminal Court acquitted blogger Nourhan Hefzy after accepting her appeal against the two-year prison sentence issued against her on charges of using narcotic substances.
