Placing a commercial statement that does not match the truth on products, stores, stores, or means of displaying products to the public.

Falsely claiming possession of a trademark registration or using an unregistered mark.

Reference to awards, diplomas or honorary degrees that have not been earned.

Exploiting the features of shared products without clarifying their source.

Placing misleading geographical indications that suggest that the goods originated in a well-known destination other than their true origin.

The law stresses that the case of recidivism requires a more severe penalty, up to imprisonment for a period of not less than a month, and a fine of not less than four thousand pounds and not exceeding twenty thousand pounds, to protect intellectual property and to ensure the commitment of all producers and merchants to transparency and accuracy in presenting products to consumers.

The law emphasizes the role of regulatory authorities in following up on violators, to ensure that the market adheres to the correct commercial rules, protects the consumer from commercial deception and counterfeiting, and guarantees the rights of actual trademark owners.
